- קוֹנְעָהf. (קנע; cmp. קָנָה) 1) right of acquiring property, citizenship. Gen. R. s. 32, beg. הַתֵּיר קוֹנְעָתוֹ ועשהוכ׳ untie (declare as forfeited) his (Davids) citizenship and make him an outlaw (v. זִיטִיטוֹס); ib. s. 38 הסיר ק׳ (corr. acc.); Yalk. Ps. 631. 2) possession, dear wife, v. קוֹנְיָיה.
